Mechatronics + AI engineer — building intelligent hardware and software that solve real-world problems.
Hi — I'm Anurag. Curious maker, coffee-lover, and someone who prefers figuring things out with my hands (and a little chaos).
I'm currently pursuing a BESc in Mechatronics and Artificial Intelligence Systems Engineering (Dual Degree) at the University of Western Ontario (Cumulative GPA: 3.9).
I love turning rough sketches into working prototypes, running beginner-friendly workshops, and helping friends debug — the messy, hands-on part is my favorite. Outside the lab I recharge with good coffee, a quick workout, and decent sleep — it keeps me curious and calm.
Got a weird idea or want to trade failure stories over coffee? I'm in.

Real projects — from prototype to demo — that solved real problems, saved time, and taught me how to build smarter.
Tethos Association
Sept. 2025 – PresentCollaborating on an interactive sensor glove: designing casing + circuit prototypes, integrating sensors on Arduino, and aligning hardware data with gameplay logic for responsive motion mapping.
Kissan Engineers (Casting)
May – Sept. 2025Built a CV-based defect inspection ML system and supporting data workflows to reduce manual operator checks and enable real-time defect flagging on the production line.
A-line Precision Tool Ltd.
Mar. – Aug. 2023Led process improvements and operator guidance for intricate CNC components, focusing on GD&T, tooling optimization, and quality checks to reduce downtime and rework.
A messy mix of prototypes, hacks, and demos — code, videos, and the glorious failures that taught me the most.

Built a custom CNN to classify 38 plant leaf diseases across 87,000+ images; deployed an optimized model on Raspberry Pi for edge-based greenhouse-style inference.

Designed a portable PWM + voltage regulation circuit (LM317T + NE555) for stable servo control at 50 Hz, with timing calculations and failure analysis to reduce jitter.

Python-based CLI for equity analysis that integrates financial ratios, macro indicators, and sentiment; includes ETL + REST API ingestion for live data and backtesting-ready deployments.
Hardware know-how + software smarts — what I use to turn sketches into things that move, see, and think.
Your next project deserves creativity and passion
I turn rough ideas into real, working prototypes — whether that means soldering a PCB, training a tiny model, or quickly iterating a CAD part. Got a startup idea, a side-project, or just want to talk hardware + AI over coffee? Hit me up — I'd love to help or just swap stories.

No pitch needed — just good coffee and better brainstorming about tech, robotics, or weird ideas.
Whether it's a groundbreaking startup idea or just an interesting technical challenge, I'm always excited to collaborate with passionate people.
